The Alpinestars Missile V3 Leather Pants (Short Leg) are race leather pants built for track days and fast sport riding. This is the short leg version; a long leg version is also listed. They are a fully CE certified Category II garment to EN 17092, AA class.

Are these pants made for the track?

Yes. Alpinestars engineered the Missile V3 fit to deliver its highest level of active race protection, with a full leather chassis, dual layers in exposed areas, knee sliders and CE AA class certification.

How do they handle heat?

A large ventilation panel on the knee opens and can be secured in the open position, and the knee remains CE certified when it is open. Ventilation on the thigh adds internal air cooling.

How do they fit on the bike?

The High Flex design uses pre-curved legs, flex zones at the knee and waist, accordion leather stretch above the knee and stretch panels on the calf and crotch, so you get a close race fit with freedom to move. A hook and loop waist adjuster fine tunes the fit.

Can I use them with an airbag and my jacket?

Yes. They are Tech-Air ready and accommodate the Tech-Air 10 Airbag System with its extended hip protection. A waist connection zipper attaches them to Alpinestars riding jackets, and the extended high rear waist gives more overlap with the jacket.
