The Caberg Tanami is a fiberglass adventure helmet designed for both on-road and off-road use. It is available in two shell sizes (XS to XXL) and can be ridden with or without the peak, functioning as a standard full-face helmet in either configuration.

Built for riders who move between tarmac and trail, the Tanami combines a dual-visor system, adjustable ventilation, a Pinlock Max Vision 70 lens, and the Caberg SOS Medical ID emergency system. It is ECE 22.06 certified and communication-system ready.

Key Specifications

Ventilation

The Tanami uses a three-point ventilation system. An adjustable chin vent with a removable magnetic cover controls incoming airflow. A large top vent with two adjustable openings feeds air through the helmet. Two rear extractors with removable covers discharge hot and stale air. All vent covers on the chin and rear extractors are held by magnets and can be fully removed for maximum airflow during off-road use or in hot conditions.

Dual Visor System (DVT)

The outer visor is anti-scratch and fitted with a central locking mechanism that prevents it from opening unexpectedly at speed. It can also be locked in a half-open position to reduce fogging. The integrated sun visor (DVT) is operated by a lever on the left side, usable with gloves on. Both visors can be removed independently.

Pinlock Max Vision 70 Anti-Fog Lens

An adjustable Pinlock Max Vision 70 lens is included and pre-fitted to the outer visor. It creates a double-pane barrier that significantly reduces fogging in cold or humid conditions.

Caberg SOS Medical ID

Communication System Compatibility

The Tanami is pre-wired and ready for the Caberg Pro Speak Evo intercom. The system supports music streaming via Bluetooth, rider-to-pillion or rider-to-rider communication up to 200 m, and GPS audio. ECE 22.06 certification was tested and confirmed with the Pro Speak Evo installed.

Peak and Motocross Mask

The peak can be fitted or removed depending on riding conditions. A motocross mask can be worn with the visor raised or with the visor removed entirely, making the Tanami compatible with goggles-based off-road setups.
