Wrap-Around Ankle Pivot System
The wrap-around ankle pivot system provides lateral support without compromising flexibility.
Shin, Heel and Toe Support
The anatomically shaped, PU-injected front shin plate provides support. Additional heel safeguards support the foot during rear compression. The toe area allows control at the shift lever, while microfiber inserts on the instep add flexibility and comfort.
Inner-Side Grip and Comfort
Heat-resistant suede leather on the inner side provides grip on the bike. Internal padding includes soft foam reinforcements around the ankles and instep for lasting comfort.
Adjustable Closure
Four lightweight, replaceable buckles and a top Velcro closure allow a precise fit. The two upper buckles can be unscrewed and adjusted to accommodate a larger leg or knee brace.
Goodyear Welted Construction
Gaerne has used Goodyear Welted construction since 1962. It creates a durable sole structure and allows the boots to be resoled.
Enduro Composite Sole
The Composite Sole has a dedicated tread designed for grip on cross-pegs, particularly in wet and muddy terrain.
