Rukka M-CLIMA Cooling/Warming Vest

M-CLIMA® is an electro-thermal technology capable of regulating the temperature and humidity of the wearer to mainatain a stable and balanced micro-climate in extreme weather conditions, whether hot or cold. The balanced comfort state eliminates distractions and thus, improves the wearer’s concentration, effectiveness and comfort.

Rukka uses this innovative technology in the Rukka Airconditioned vest powered by M-CLIMA®. Besides the cooling and heating functions, it scores with minimal weight, high breathability, an ergonomic fit and outstanding wearing comfort. The climate management system draws power from the motorbike’s charging system via the fan unit. A simple push of a button on the remote will activate it. The fan then circulates fresh air from outside throughout the whole vest and over the rider’s skin, for an immediate and appreciable cooling effect. Additionally, for the cooling function, the vest comes with a small, handy battery carried in a matching pocket on its back. The battery is good for up to two hours of constant cooling, and can be recharged during any longer breaks. The warming effect can also be activated at the push of a button. The inside of the vest is completely lined with small, semi-conducting silicon panels. Those heating elements’ temperature may reach up to 46 degrees centigrade, a cosy ten degrees above core body temperature.

Heating Mode:

Once the M-CLIMA® flexible heating elements are activated, the heating elements reach a

self-regulated constant temperature of around 45° C.

Cooling Mode:

The M-CLIMA® blower unit pushes air inside the system. The air becomes a turbulent flow next to the skin, accelerating the evaporative cooling effect.
