SC-Project used all the experience gained during its long-term collaboration with Aprilia Racing to develop this full exhaust system with the S1 muffler for the Aprilia RS 457. Everything is designed to offer strong performance together with improved agility, thanks to a weight reduction of over 30% compared to the OEM system and a performance gain of 2.5 hp and 2.2 Nm at 7200 rpm (measured without the dB-killer).

The S1 silencer shape and carbon fibre end cap give the system an aggressive yet elegant look, finished with an exclusive riveted aluminium plate carrying the SC-Project logo. It is crafted entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel with handcrafted TIG welds, and its conical shape delivers the deep, signature SC-Project sound. This product is for racing use only and does not meet European regulations for road use; ECU remapping is not required.

Construction and Materials

The full system is crafted entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel for resistance and durability, built with state-of-the-art technologies including handcrafted TIG welds, exactly like every SC-Project product. The S1 silencer is finished with a carbon fibre end cap and an exclusive riveted aluminium plate bearing the SC-Project logo.

Sound and Customization

The conical silencer shape rewards you with strong, deep notes as soon as the engine starts, the signature SC-Project sound. The muffler is fitted with a removable baffle so you can choose between a loud but acceptable 104 dB at 5500 rpm with the dB-killer installed, or a louder 112 dB at 5500 rpm without it.

Electronic Catalytic Remover (ECR)

Included in the package is the ECR, developed by SC-Project to correctly manage the removal of the catalytic converter. Without it, the RS 457 would generate a permanent error that can cause issues while riding. The ECR connects to the OBD socket, automatically manages the error, and safely restores correct functionality of the on-board electronic system.

Installation is completely plug and play and fully reversible.
