The Shoei GT-Air 3 Smart is a premium full face touring helmet with a fully integrated augmented reality head-up display, developed by Shoei in collaboration with Eyelights. It builds on the proven GT-Air 3 platform and adds a full color Nano-OLED display that floats navigation, speed, calls, and music around 3 metres ahead of you, so you get the information you need without looking away from the road.

It is built on Shoei's AIM shock absorbing shell with a multi density EPS liner and ECE 22/06 homologation, and it pairs flagship touring comfort with a built in universal intercom, an active noise cancelling microphone, and built in speakers. Shoei reports that the head-up display cuts rider reaction time by more than 32 percent by keeping your eyes up on the road.

What does the head-up display show?

The full color Nano-OLED display projects turn by turn GPS navigation, your speed, incoming call notifications, and music controls about 3 metres in front of you. It is rated up to 5000 nits so it stays readable even in direct sunlight.
