In conjunction with the original engine guard, it forms a sophisticated all-round protection concept for passive safety: In the event of a crash or a fall, the forces acting on the guard are optimally distributed across the guard structure to the resilient mounting points, thus reducing force and moment peaks. Visually, the guard integrates seamlessly into the design of the motorcycle and underscores its striking appearance. The tank guard is made from a composite of precision-machined stainless steel tubes. The tube segments are formed on CNC tube bending machines for each specific model and then neatly welded.
