Key Specifications

Is the Z1R Solaris 2.0 Modular Opus Helmet available in 4XL?

Yes. It is offered from XS up to 4XL, and the 4XL fits a 66 to 67 cm head. Z1R uses 2 shell sizes across the range, so larger heads get a properly proportioned shell.

Is it DOT and ECE certified?

Yes. It meets both the US DOT FMVSS-218 standard and the European ECE R22.06 standard, the latest ECE regulation.

Does it have a sun visor?

Yes. A rigid drop-down sun visor sits inside the shell and is operated by a lever on the side of the helmet, so you can deploy it with a gloved hand. The clear face shield is scratch-resistant polycarbonate and easy to remove.

Is it Bluetooth ready?

It has built-in speaker pockets to accept a motorcycle communication system. The intercom unit itself is not included.

How is the ventilation and comfort?

Closable vents at the chin and crown work with an open rear exhaust for adjustable airflow, which helps in Indian heat. The polyester liner and cheek pads are moisture-wicking and fully removable for washing.

How do I choose the right big size helmet?

Measure your head circumference with a soft tape about 1 cm above your eyebrows, around the widest part of the back of your head. Match the reading to the Z1R size chart: XS 53 to 54 cm, S 55 to 56 cm, M 57 to 58 cm, L 59 to 60 cm, XL 61 to 62 cm, XXL 62 to 64 cm, XXXL 64 to 65 cm and 4XL 66 to 67 cm.
