2027 Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: First Look at the New Parallel-Twin Adventure Flagship

Royal Enfield revealed a new Himalayan 750 at EICMA 2027, adding a range-topping model to its adventure-touring line alongside the air-cooled 411 (now upsized to a 440) and the liquid-cooled 450.
The bike debuts a new 743cc air and oil-cooled parallel-twin that will also make its way to a new Continental GT and likely other models that currently use Royal Enfield's 650 twin. Royal Enfield claims 55 hp at 7,000 rpm and 46.5 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm, with 90 percent of torque available from 3,500 rpm. A ride-by-wire throttle offers five ride modes (Road, Road Sport, Rain, Trail and Custom), each managing engine mapping, cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control.
Chassis and suspension
The chassis uses a box-section spine frame with pressed steel side plates and the engine as a stressed member. The 19-inch front wheel is carried by a 43mm Showa cartridge-type inverted fork with adjustable compression and rebound damping and 7.5 inches of travel, while a preload and rebound-adjustable Showa monoshock works through a linkage at the rear with 6.9 inches of travel.
Braking comes from dual 280mm front discs with two-piston calipers and a single 255mm rear disc with a two-piston caliper. Royal Enfield offers a choice of wire-spoked or cast wheels depending on color, and every version runs tubeless tires with a tire pressure monitoring system as standard.
